Background designs for I did for our Hanafuda Game Grumps Animated Collab. and We LOVE Sonic Collab!
The Hanafuda one was a lot of fun because the other artists in the group followed my design to keep the short pretty darn consistent. It was really great being a designer for that one!
The design I did of Arin for my latest GGA. It’s more wacky than my normal stuff but I like it!
Turn around for my Danny design in my third Game Grumps Animated! I’m so glad I got to do an animated for one of my favourite GG series. Dan’s solo Space Quest playthroughs were absolutely the best!

Okay a bit of story time. Everyone’s out there (including me) posting our GameGrumpsZine pieces and I had done Undertale of course. In January of this year I was talking to Gamb (the mod) and he was saying that the person who was supposed to do the Mario Maker piece just ghosted him! The due date for the pieces had already passed and, well, I asked Gamb how many days he had left to have this spot filled. Four. Four days. So I offered to do it.
From sketch to finished piece I got this done in I think three days. But wow I’m still very proud of it.
Now the other thing too is that a ton of people wanted to be in this zine and Gamb didn’t want me to get any hate for doing two pieces so he asked me if I could use a pseudonym which I agreed to. In the zine this piece is credited to “Julien Tait” which was my ‘boy’ name for a long time. The link it leads to is just my favourite bit in the Mario Maker series. My private twitter account is also called @julientait
So that’s the story as to why my Mario Maker piece exists and is credited under a different name.
