Jey Pawlik (they/them) is a nonbinary comic artist whose goal is to make unapologetically queer comics. They have been working in comics since 2013 as the artist for Topaz Comics with two completed webcomics “Dead City” and “Gender Slices” under their belt. Their specialties are their detailed lineart, autobio stories, and character expressions.

Jey graduated from Sheridan College in 2012 and has gone on to do work for Oh Joy Sex Toy, Game Grumps, Filthy Figments, and most recently Disney, as well as several anthologies: 2019 Ignatz award winning “We’re Still Here: A Trans Anthology” and 2022 Lammy finalist “Nectar: A Transfemme Erotic Anthology”. Jey was the resident comic artist for the Canada Comics Open Library during February 2020. They were the editor and producer of the yearly charity art zine “Swim On” from 2015 to 2024. Jey is currently on the Nib & Ink Festival committee with the Cartoonist Coop writing social media posts for the month long event.
