Comics

As a nonbinary/trans artist I can provide work from a marginalized point of view. I prefer working on LGBTQ+ works for teens or adults but am open to work in different genres and age ranges. 

Comic rates are charged per page for short term projects (1-30 pages)
$200 – Inks only, includes lettering and pencils
$300 – Greyscale full page, includes lettering, pencils and inks
$500 – Coloured full page, includes lettering, pencils and inks

Revisions are charged $40 per hour.

Comic rates are charged $40 per hour for long term projects (20+ pages).

Illustrations

Illustrations are charged per page, and can be used as book covers, logos, t-shirt designs, etc. Prices are for 9×12″ sized illustrations.
$600 – Greyscale full page, includes pencils and inks
$1000 – Coloured full page, includes pencils and inks

Revisions are charged $40 per hour.

Please email me with details, sizes, and terms for your project. If you’re looking for a personal illustration that you will not be selling to an audience please inquire about a personal private commission instead.

Mentorships

I’m now offering short-term mentorships! Limited to 2 students at a time.

$250 per week includes:
1 hour long lecture + half an hour for questions in a video call – as long as it’s related to comics this can be whatever the student needs (RSS, how to post, where to post, how to make a website, lettering), but I can also work through my regular set of “Creating Webcomics” lectures

Feedback on in-progress comic pages, scripts, or thumbnails – I will give you feedback, redlines, and advice on any current projects you’re working on through email and video chat (video chat is optional, email is mandatory) Feedback will be limited to 2 hours per week between the hours of 9am to 5pm EST.

Storyboarding, Concept, and Game Work

Sensitivity Reading/Social Consultant

Do you need someone to look over your LGBTQ+ work? I’m happy to help! I offer consulting for comics, novels, video games and TTRPGs about queer, nonbinary, and transgender (specifically transmasculine) experiences.

Rates are hourly and includes feedback on pitches, character mannerisms, dialogue tweaking, information on a topic, and online resources. Consultations can be done through email or over voice-call.
$20/hr – Students
$40/hr – Self publishing individuals (eg. webcomics)
$80/hr – Corporate/Publisher

Talks & Workshops

Want to educate your students, teens at a library or folks in the community about comics? I’ll happily do talks and/or workshops on comics, comic making, networking at a per hour rate. Talks can include PowerPoint presentations, an open discussion and/or a Q&A. Workshops are only available in person. Venue must accommodate travel and lodging along with hourly rates unless venue is located in Toronto.
$100/hr – Online talk
$200/hr – In-person talk
$300/hr – In-person talk + workshop
