Sketchbook Shoutouts – 46

Sketchbook Shoutouts – 45

Image with three different black and white inked drawings on it. The first has the text “shoutout for TLC” in which TLC’s character, an older man with scarred arms, holds a baby against his chest as it barfs on him, we only see the back of the baby and the sound effect “BLEH…” as the man’s face stares off in the distance tiredly. The second drawing has the text “shoutout for a wild rat man” and shows a crying Lupin holding desperately onto Yata’s arms as Yata reaches up to hold Lupin’s face with his hands, Yata is looking sadly into Lupin’s eyes. The last drawing has the text “shoutout for FRNZ” and is Goemon with his eyes closed and a smile on his face, he’s sheathing his sword as the wind blows his hair majestically to the right, there are sparkles and cherry blossoms floating around him.

Sketchbook Shoutouts – 44

Mixed Drinks: Lupin Intro

Zenigata is chasing after him with his arms out. Narration reads “Guyahaha! I am the world famous thief Lupin III! All the beautiful art in the world deserves to be owned by me! There is no painting I cannot steal. To keep myself amused I tell people in advance what piece I am coming for, just to watch them fail at their pathetic attempts to stop me. Recently a new inspector has been put on my case. He’s no match for me of course, but he’s loads more fun than the last one. Every time I slip out from under his grasp with the treasure he stands left behind, shaking his fist and yelling “Lupin!” into the night. Panel two, the inside of a bar where Lupin is pouring a drink for Zenigata who’s happily chatting him up. Narration reads “He’s a total goof, so imagine my surprise when one night he shows up at my bar! I thought he had caught on, but it turns out he can’t tell I’m Lupin when I’m not in my costume. Since then he’s been trying to hunt down Lupin every day while coming to visit Arsene every evening. I am still the greatest thief in the world and no painting in Paris is safe from my grasp, but with that dope inpector hounding my every step things are going to get a lot more interesting!”

Okay okay, we don’t normally do this but Max and I are excited to do some fun art for an AU we’ve been thinking about.

I’ll tag this one as Mixed Drinks, but I hope you’re excited for some fun art that’ll occasionally go up on Fridays for this!

It won’t be a full comic, but doodles, illustrations and mini comics all mixed in.
