Another sketchpage, because I like doing these. It’s Zenigata this time and boy this man can emote! I highly recommend watching any of the Miyazaki episodes because Zeni is always a big part of them.
Zenigata’s intro for a fun AU Max and I are dabbling in! What if Lupin was a thief by day and a bartender by night? What if Zenigata had facial blindness? What if they flirted?
Okay okay, we don’t normally do this but Max and I are excited to do some fun art for an AU we’ve been thinking about.
I’ll tag this one as Mixed Drinks, but I hope you’re excited for some fun art that’ll occasionally go up on Fridays for this!
It won’t be a full comic, but doodles, illustrations and mini comics all mixed in.

January 22nd: Zenigata’s favourite pen
I went with a fountain pen because, like I said, I’m a big pen nerd! I did some looking in to old Japanese pens. It was tough to pick between Zenigata having a really shitty pen, or a stupid expensive one. In the end I went with this one.
Saw this template on twitter a while back and had to try my hand at it! It’s very fun style matching, especially since I’m doing that for my day job right now.
I drew my version first then tried to match various Lupin styles that inspire me and put the characters in the same pose/expression.
Give it a try, it’s a fun challenge!
The last 9 Advent Calendar drawings I did based on prompts posted over at lupiniii.club and what a fun event that was! It felt a lot like when I’d do inktober every year, which I do kinda miss. So many I’ll do another Advent Calendar for 2024!
Secret Santa gift for mystsaphyr.me this year! My spouse gave me the idea for the piece, and I’m real pleased with how it turned out.
