More practice! The more you love something, the more you draw it, and thus the better you get at drawing it!
Never leave Fujiko out! Here’s studies I did and she might’ve been the easiest to redesign!
I feel like Zeni’s been the easiest to draw but I couldn’t leave him out, and a learned a lot about his face this way!
Trying to get that good handsome/himbo/tired energy that Goemon always has.
Jigen was the hardest one to draw for some reason but doing screenshot studies helped a TON! I needed to find a good balance of gremlin and handsome gay gunman.
Sometimes the best way to learn how to draw something is to do your research! I went through screenshots and redrew them to get a better feeling for how Lupin’s face works and it helped a lot!
A few more weird doodles from November/December 2019. Was still very unsure about how I wanted to draw Jigen and Zeni.
This was back in July 2019 the day the first CGI trailer dropped for “Lupin the Third The First” and I wanted to try my hand at handsome Jigen!
