My souvenir goal for Japan was to buy myself a really nice fancy pen and I succeeded! This is a Sailor Profit 1911 21k with a zoom nib, it’s kind of like a fude and the nib is really neat.

I finished 88 sketchbooks from 2010-2019. I handsewed them and they were 5.5 x 8.5″ so a bit small. I’m trying a new setup for 2020 and I’m really excited!

2008 vs 2018 art! I think I’ve come a long way with composition, character designs, stories, and general growth! I’m so much more confident in my art now.
I went through a lot of big changes in the last ten years. I’m 17 in the first picture in 2008 and it’s the last day of highschool. I’m who I want to be now, no longer an awkward kid who’s struggling to be what society wants. I’m not as scared anymore.

Our dead city process is a lot of fun! @octokracken draws the rough thumbnail and writes a detailed script and then I sketch and ink it on 9×6 bristol!
