Here it is, the second sketchbook for 2020! It’s got a lot of Lupin studies in it, but I’ve been having such a good time studying the different art styles the show has to offer. I’m thinking about doing a 20-30 page short story about the Lupin gang and so I’ve been working hard to perfect my designs for them.

I also completed my residency at the Canada Comics Open Library, in which I’ll do some more journal comics about that. I just posted a blog post on their site with a written version of the talk I did on February 23rd, I’ll be linking everyone to that soon. It was a really great experience and I’m excited to move on to new things for March!

Thanks for your patience in this month’s wallpaper! I was so busy getting everything set up for my talk over at the Canada Comics Open Library, which was a lot of fun! I hope you all enjoy a cat cafe wallpaper this month:

It’s been a really busy month so I hope y’all don’t mind if I throw some more sketchy looking drawings at you ’till everything settles down. I’m colouring a short comic, I did a cover for a TTRPG, I have a few other comics for clients to do and I’m still doing my residency at the Canada Comics Open Library! Phew~

I’m hoping to draw some good Mikael/JP stuff for y’all soon! Bare with me!

Really wanted to write about my residency for canadacomicsol.org this month! I’ve been writing posts for them on their Instagram and I wrote a big blog post about my journey into comics. I hope y’all will check those out, ’cause they were super fun to do!

I’m really excited to share more of this with everyone~

It’s here! 2020’s first sketchbook! I’m doing things a little differently this year and I’m very excited because I think this new sketchbook setup has really helped with my art block. I’m using a discbound setup which I might take pictures of it soon. It’s also a lot bigger than my previous 5.5×8.5 books, and it’s now 8.5×11 so more sketches for y’all!
