March was… a lot. But I persevered and finished my 30 page sketchbook still! My sketchbooks might be mostly studies, concept art and sketches for a while. My partner and I are self-isolating ourselves as our area has a lot of community transferring, we’re keeping ourselves safe by staying inside, but my creativity has really taken a blow because of it. So it’ll be concepts and sketches for a while!

I was struggling really badly and didn’t know how to get out of it. I felt lost and stuck.
For Christmas my family banded together to give me money towards a new tablet that I could draw on (I don’t like apple so I went with Samsung) and I think that gave me the push I needed to work on getting out of that rut.
Art is still a bit hard, but my block isn’t as bad as it was in December.

Coming back to the scene from last week! I’m taking a lot of care in how I draw JP since this is his first intimate experience with someone. This takes place between chapter 32 and 33, when Mikael and JP use the bedroom for the last time before leaving that house they were staying in!
