I was invited to go to OIAF this passed weekend with some really cool people, and I did some art for them to thank them for letting me tag along like a lost puppy.
So Welcome to Hell by Real-faker is an animated short everyone should watch. It’s cute and dark all at the same time. I did some work on it and it was a really great experience. So here’s some weird art I did that I’m kinda proud of. Also considering some of my ‘11 art of WtH is circling around now… here’s something new and better.

So I met up and went to OIAF this passed weekend with some pretty awesome people! And to thank them for letting me tag along and bother them….. I did up some art.
If you guys haven’t seen Bird and Fish, I totally think you should. It’s a super cute animated short by Daijouboob and Sssonny. It’s got a great story and I think more people need to watch it. I also did some work on it and I’m super glad I got the opportunity!

Bam! Did some fanart of one of my favourite web comics. It’s really hard to get myself motivated to do fanart, when I’m so into drawing my own characters, but I think TJ and Amal are definitely an exception. Actually I drew this back mid-December because I bought the first volume for my girlfriend for Christmas… and I might’ve re-read it about six times before wrapping it up to finally give it to her.
Actually, I’d been reading it quite a lot within the passed few months in attempts to inspire and motivate myself to start working on comics of my own, but I think in the end… it actually made me come to grips with how much I liked my girlfriend (who I wasn’t dating at the time). I don’t know if that’s weird. Also because I hadn’t spoken to anyone ever about my possible feelings towards another girl. But I think it helped, because the comic itself feels so real and relate-able.
Sorry for rambling. I just have a lot of feelings.

Sorry it took a while, I had it done pretty quickly, but I was working on my new art blog and watermark. So yeah, here we go. Hope it’s good. I really just put in how I personally would remake the character, so if you don’t care for it, that’s cool too~

Married Life – Pixar’s UpCongratulations on getting old, Jenny!
I really wanted to draw something nice for her, as in not just a doodle. So I’ve been having lots of feelings about Gav and Djuri when they’re much older… or just them in general. And I’ve doodled Djuri as an old lady already, but I haven’t coloured anything yet. That and, me, Michelle, and Morgan, watched “Up” recently, and… Djuri would be Carl. I don’t even care.
Anywho, so yes, Gav would be as handsome as his dad when he grows old. I assume they’re actually pretty old here, over a hundred for sure (since in my mind dragons live pretty long), and Trez lives well over a hundred, so would Gav. It makes sense, I swear. Also, not going to spoil much, but something big/horrible happens to Djuri, in which she stops wearing her hat and outs that she’s a girl finally. I’m really loving the poofy clothes on her though, she’d be so layered, ohman. Also in which, Gav sports a massive braid, ‘cause he’d hang out with the vikings too much. And his hair just… grows. Damnit Gav.
Well, yeah, so hope you like it Jen. I did a background and everything! OKAY?! Though the ocean is super easy to draw… shhhhh.
