Character redesign for Michelle. From the thing I reblogged here, check it out. I’d like more experience with this kind of thing, especially since I didn’t change too much for this one out of two that I actually got.
This is a redesign of her character Tan. He really needed some new colours, that and she aged him up to be like 40 something.
I always pictured Tan as, the nerdy looking man, who wasn’t the sort of… fanboy nerd, like with video games or whatever. But like, book smart, and math, and that kind of nerd. Someone who’d actually excel at school, who had braces, and flood pants, and was that loner kid. That’s how I see it. And as a middle-aged man, I don’t think it’d change. He dresses like how his father would, maybe. That though, and we have this joke where: when he takes off his glasses, he de-ages twenty or so years, and actually has nice eyes. I can’t bring myself to draw them though. No one should know what his eyes actually look like. Kind of like the Professor from Futurama. Anywho, so that’s Tan’s redesign.
I’m still down for doing more of these btw~

The rules stated that I needed to have a screenshot included in the artwork, which is kind of lame, but whatever. I’m too lazy to make two seperate versions of this, it took me long enough already.
So my two characters respectfully, TressieBelle, and ChickahDee. I only just started Tressie, so she’s super n00b, but still has a nice looking outfit.

Sorry it took a while, I had it done pretty quickly, but I was working on my new art blog and watermark. So yeah, here we go. Hope it’s good. I really just put in how I personally would remake the character, so if you don’t care for it, that’s cool too~

Married Life – Pixar’s UpCongratulations on getting old, Jenny!
I really wanted to draw something nice for her, as in not just a doodle. So I’ve been having lots of feelings about Gav and Djuri when they’re much older… or just them in general. And I’ve doodled Djuri as an old lady already, but I haven’t coloured anything yet. That and, me, Michelle, and Morgan, watched “Up” recently, and… Djuri would be Carl. I don’t even care.
Anywho, so yes, Gav would be as handsome as his dad when he grows old. I assume they’re actually pretty old here, over a hundred for sure (since in my mind dragons live pretty long), and Trez lives well over a hundred, so would Gav. It makes sense, I swear. Also, not going to spoil much, but something big/horrible happens to Djuri, in which she stops wearing her hat and outs that she’s a girl finally. I’m really loving the poofy clothes on her though, she’d be so layered, ohman. Also in which, Gav sports a massive braid, ‘cause he’d hang out with the vikings too much. And his hair just… grows. Damnit Gav.
Well, yeah, so hope you like it Jen. I did a background and everything! OKAY?! Though the ocean is super easy to draw… shhhhh.

I haven’t drawn Fry in quite some time, and when I found out Billy West was coming to Fanexpo this year… well, I just couldn’t help myself. He is the nicest man, I swear, especially doing autographs for free. I lined up two hours early just to get IN line, it was crazy, but worth it. So in the end, instead of getting him to just sign my art, I gave it to him, because he deserved it for sure. I kind of regret not printing my name on it or something though, oh well.
I also did get a photo with him, ohman, it was one of the best moments of the weekend for sure.

Twenty-seven years oldSee, see, I’m still doing them. This one though, gave me a ton of issues. I finished colouring it, went to save. PHOTOSHOP CRASHES! I lost it.But I managed to redo it the next day, so all was well. Actually it turned out better than my first try; water is HARD to colour. Oh yes, I made her water instead of Slime… just so it can go with my group, Skargarden.

One year oldSo I started that monster challenge that’s going around HERE. And it looked like a fantastic oppertunity to try out things I don’t normally. So I made this thing, where I’d random the coorisponding animal to the monster (so a harpy is a bird, y’know?), then random a nationality, random an age, and personality and all that. There’s no biases here!
Of course… I get a BABY for my first one. I hate drawing little kids. So…. it proves that this is good practice. UGH babies. Also this is good, since I don’t draw girls/women enough.

Have some quick Korra doodles. Since the new outfits were shown, I thought I’d try my hand at Korra’s. The only issue was that I’m really not sure what the colours are supposed to be… so I took the projector image of her turn around, put it in photoshop and changed around the saturation/lightness ‘till it matched the official images, basing it off her skin. Here’s hopin’ I got it right~
