My weekly art prompt drawings from March that I’m hosting over at LupinIII.club! With the prompts: Jigen’s depression meal, Fujiko using glitter as a weapon, Zenigata not being able to take compliments, and Jigen and Goemon put too much trust in a magic 8 ball.
Today, a sketchpage for you all! It’s Fujiko time and I for one think she needs more love! I recently rewatched Part 1 and she is just so charming!
Shoutout requests from my Private Collector folks! I don’t know who some of these characters are but it’s always fun to draw ones I’ve never seen before (except for Mikael and JP at the bottom, I could draw them with my eyes closed).
Every month that someone’s pledged to my Private Collector tier on Patreon, they get an inked request that appears in my monthly sketchbook The request acts as mini commissions and folks can ask for their OCs, my OCs, or any kind of fanart.

A new page of “After All” went up for my Private Collector tier! This is a NSFW Jigen/Zenigata comic written by Max. It’s been a bit slow coming out lately because I’ve been swamped with other work but we’ve only got four pages left now!

Two new pages of “The Curtain Falls” are up! This is a Lupin III fancomic I’m working that focuses on Lupin in his 60s and dealing with change and retirement. We’re getting into the meat of the issue now as Lupin monologues a bit.

March’s Sketchbook
This month’s sketchbook is up for the Grab Bag tier on Patreon, VIP Blog and Kofi
It’s been a real busy month and I wasn’t able to dedicate too much time to sketchbook art but I really like what I did do when I had the time! Lots of original comic concepts in this one, plus a sneak peek to my comic for the upcoming OJST pledge drive, some forum weekly art prompts and more! As ever, thanks to my patrons for their support and shoutout requests.
Other things
I just finished up a secret OJST comic for their Patreon Pledge Drive again this year. It’ll go up sometime in April so keep an eye out for that, then I’ll post it on my own Patreon/VIP blog in December! I posted a sneak peak of it in March’s sketchbook~
Still working fulltime on a video game with a studio until the summer, I’ve been really enjoying the experience and video games might be something I’ll look in to doing more for my daytime work!
Lots of internet stuff happened this month, with more sites like tumblr including more AI garbage and Gumroad and Patreon putting up more walls against NSFW art it’s looking really bleak out there. It was a tough time but I really believe that if people continue to make art that we’ll persevere through all this.
Patreon hasn’t outright banned NSFW art so I’ll continue posting there, but if they ask me to remove it then I’ll have to comply. On the upside I am working on a membership site of my very own that will act a lot like Patreon, my VIP blog it’s not very pretty yet but it does work! It doesn’t have the immense backlog yet like my Patreon does but having a back-up just in case makes me feel better. It does use Stripe because there’s no other options for me right now, but I’ve added a little addendum to my TOS that might be a good work around for now. Here’s hoping Patreon doesn’t give me the boot!

Feeling very indulgent and wanted to draw my top 4 favourite characters (of all time I think). I gotta draw more Senshi at some point, and if you haven’t read Delicious in Dungeon please go do that now!
Cohost Asks
For work, I go from 9am-5pm with a lunch at 12pm, Monday to Friday. I find that I work best on client projects during the day and I give myself that very clear cut-off point so I’m not overworking myself.
Buuuut, after making dinner, going on a walk, and settling on the couch for the night that’s when I work on personal art. So around 7pm-10pm.
I’ve been drawing steadily since I was 10 and once I started I just never stopped. I’ve got like three pivotal moments;
When I was 9 a teacher read The Hobbit to my class and I got really into it and started drawing scenes from the book, that teacher encouraged me to keep going and I felt like being an artist was something I could actually do.
Then I got really into Dragon Ball Z, so my drawings turned more towards anime and I began doing a ton of fanart. It was mostly just copying Toriyama’s illustrations though. My mom started encouraging me further and saying I should go to Sheridan College when I’m older (and I did!)
Comics took over once I got my first volume of Shonen Jump when I was 11 in 2001. That’s when I realised that “comic artist” was a job! It was such a monumental moment for me, after that all I wanted to do was draw comics.
Now I’m a professional, drawing both as a hobby and for my day job! I made it!
Ohhhhhboy, I have maybe 15 projects swirling around my head at any given time but I’ll stick to one for now; I’d like to do a NSFW webcomic with a really old OC of mine, Ulf.
I’m in the plotting stages right now so I haven’t actually done any pages for it yet (that counts for this question right?!) I’ve had this character for well over 10 years now and I’ve had this idea for a while, I just gotta do it!
I just really like doing pages of screenshot redraws, it always makes me realize how different I lean for my own design of the characters. Goemon always has much longer hair than I remember.
