Amiel had asked me to draw Nick from All Saints Street and that show is so dang charming, go watch it!
Inside you are two Lupins…
Yes when he got his top surgery he got bespoke bean nipples.

Some Ryoko Kui studies from 2021 that I wanted to post now that the manga has wrapped up. Delicious in Dungeon holds a real special place in my heart, and while I haven’t done much/any fanart of it, I have done manga studies!
I’ve done manga studies before in this public post of Monkey Punch studies & one of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou or for Grab Bag tier folks I posted a whole sketchbook of studies!
Four very good shoutout requests for, including some Pride related ones!
Shoutouts are for my Private Collector gang on Patreon & my VIP Blog! I draw them traditionally in my sketchbook and folks get one every month.
Wrapping up the summer with another newsletter!

Public August Art

I try and post fun public art every Fridays, usually fanart! I post them over on tumblr, mastodon, cohost, pillowfort, bluesky and jpawlik.com/blog with sketches and thumbnails up early for patrons and VIP members!
Webcomic Updates

Something a bit different, Max and I were invited to this anthology back in 2021 Queer Compassion in 15 Comics and now that the book is out, we’re finally able to share what we did for it! We’re both very proud of it.
Our comic was 8 pages so I’ll be scheduling one per week on Tuesdays to give us a bit of a buffer so we can get some new Darumaka comics ready for y’all!
Three pages are up so far to read for free! If you want early access to pages, sketches and thumbs check out my Patreon or my VIP Blog.

For Patrons and VIP members, I just finished posting all 5 pages of the comic Max and I did for the Mon Marie zine. It’s not quite NSFW but has implications and is a bit more mature. I also popped our extra copies up in the Topaz Shop if you’re interested.

Other things
Still working away on my NDA game project and should be wrapping up in September. I have really enjoyed my time working on a video game so I may pursue more of this work going forward!
I bought an old 1994 Pentax film camera and have been having such a good time getting into photography as a hobby. I’ve been wanting a hobby that I can’t monetize and that doesn’t involve drawing in any way. There’s a local camera club near me so I may also join that soon. Maybe I’ll post some photos online too!
My goal after September is to really dive back in to personal work for the remainder of the year. I have so much I want to work on but just don’t have the time yet!
If you’re a Lupin fan, also check out the Lupin Forum I’m hosting weekly art prompts over there, so come draw with us!

Join me again at the end of September for my next newsletter!

June’s Lupin prompts that I’ve been hosting over on LupinIII.club! The theme for the month was Pride so the prompts were: Pride Flags, Pride outfits, Found Family, and Pride Parade
Sketchpage inspired by a gifset on tumblr that I cannot for the life of me find now but it seemed so in character I couldn’t help myself. And some Lupin VIII soft boys!
I’d rewatched Hemingway Papers earlier this year and really wanted to draw a young Jigen and Mash. I have oh so many headcanons for them.
I’ve got a bunch of these old photo style illustrations in my backlog and I’m thinking I’ll post them on my Patreon/VIP Blog once The Curtain Falls is over, then collect them all into a zine!
Three shoutout requests to start off the month, I had fun figuring out how to draw some guys I’ve never drawn before!
Shoutouts are for my Private Collector gang on Patreon & my VIP Blog! I draw them traditionally in my sketchbook and folks get one every month.
This one is from last year and I’d forgotten to post it. I got a new Samsung tablet last August for drawing on the go, so here’s some test doodles with Darumaka, Lupins and two OCs!
I really like the Samsung Galaxy Tabs as an ipad alternative. I use Clipstudio on it and use it as my primary inking device! I had some issues with it in the beginning but those sorted themselves out, it seems like it was a magnet problem so I don’t keep the pen magnetized to the back of the tablet anymore.
