Really fun sketches I did a while back while thinking of a vampire au for Mikael and JP!
I thought I posted this already but it seems I hadn’t. I must have put it off because I drew this before Mikael’s hairstyle changed in the comic.
I’ve drawn JP’s brother, Dimitri, before but I’ve known for a long time that he and Mikael would get along really well. But overall, Dimitri would just be happy for JP for finding someone.
I wish I could put more of JP and Demi’s relationship in the comic!
I frequently like to draw Mikael in neat fashion I come across online and this was no different. If I could, I would give Mikael the biggest wardrobe, but of course we chose a zombie apocalypse story for him.
Decided to go ahead and colour this because I just really liked it. That’s all!
I really liked this au where Mikael is a young single dad from the late 80s/early 90s. He meets JP and they hit it off really well. JP becomes like a second dad to Mikael’s daughter Arc. And then in 2005 when gay marriage is legalized in Canada they go for it! All ends well!
So these are from 2016, but I’m posting them up now to go with my Patreon wallpaper that will be up shortly. In this specific AU, JP is normal human height and doesn’t know Mikael and a few other tiny friends are living in his apartment.

Pride Month Portraits 2019
JP is given an opportunity to question his sexuality and is really learning to open up in our webcomic “Dead City”.
Mikael is the other protagonist of our webcomic “Dead City”. He’s bisexual and isn’t afraid of dressing in clothing that society deems ‘unmanly’.
Jan and Isabelle are our old lady lesbians from our @filthyfigments comics “Touchdown” (from the SCORE! anthology) and “After Practice”! Jan and Isabelle are long time partners who surprise each other in the best of ways!
Bronze and Tan are up next for my OC #PrideMonth showcase thread! @octokracken made Tan, and I made Bronze in 2010 and that’s how Michelle and I met! So they’re very special to us~
Rust is my next OC for my #pridemonth thread. He’s become Tan and Bronze’s son, and also not apart of any ongoing series but fun to draw! Rust is trans and asexual, and I hope to do more with him in the future!
Daven is a trans man from our new and upcoming comic “Alola, Darumaka”. While he’s already been through most of his transition before the comic starts, Darumaka is always there to support him!
Leif is Daven’s friend and roomate and is nonbinary. They share pronouns with their partner pokemon Exeggcute!
Ulf is a genderfluid space trucker who will accept any pronoun! I hope to use Ulf in an upcoming comic eventually~
I wanted to showcase a few characters that @octokracken and I have made together. Our thing is to make queer stories, about queer characters. We want to make representation happen for everyone.
