It’s #transdayofvisibility and I just wanted to make a post about it.
I’ve been out to the public for 3 years today and it only gets better and easier. People are understanding and more respectful (mostly).
But for those people who aren’t out, or can’t be out yet I want to be a voice for you. I want to show you that you’re not alone.
So I want to strive making queer and trans friendly comics for everyone to enjoy.
I’m the artist for “Dead City” which is written by my partner Michelle. It’s a zombie apocalypse story with more character development than zombies.
I also draw and write an autobio comic “Gender Slices” about my own experiences with gender all based off things that have really happened to me.
Didn’t get a chance to post this in January but I am very proud of my 2017 accomplishments!
I forget if I posted this. But my partner and I get mistaken to be related…. a lot…..
Fighting some Yiga Clan members in a lightning storm. It was a very easy fight.
Not sure if tumblr’s gonna bunk up the quality, but here’s my hourlies that I did yesterday! Enjoy a Jey day!
Our dead city process is a lot of fun! @octokracken draws the rough thumbnail and writes a detailed script and then I sketch and ink it on 9×6 bristol!
I really like Michelle’s thumbnails though!
Swim On 2017 Pieces
All of my pieces for this year’s @swimonzine! Chain catshark, bamboo shark, and a ghost shark comic (which you can buy the originals for on my gumroad)
I’m really proud of this year’s zine and I hope it just keeps getting better as the years go on!
