I work pretty much only traditionally with most of my inks and lines. So my brush settings are actual brushes!
@artemai-draws I’m sorry if this isn’t what you meant when you asked about making comics. I’m not much of a writer unfortunately. If you want to know how to outline and plot comics you should ask my partner and Dead City writer @octokracken! We work together to make Dead City.
If you’re talking about Gender Slices. I do that solo but they’re so simple I’m not sure if it even counts as writing. This is my process for Gender Slices.
I hope this helps! And thanks for asking!
Can you reccommend?
That is something I’m always on the hunt for too but I definitely recommend reading @gqutie and @mantimecomic both done by really awesome people.
There’s also manga that I’ll recommend too: Shimanami Tasogare, and Wandering Son. Both are very good!
And checking out anything on @lgbtwebcomics they have everything nicely organized and they’re also really great!
Hope that helps a bit!
I got quite a few asks and PMs about this comic I posted.
And I just want to say how much I appreciate all of your messages. I exactly put the comic out to look for ideas. The problem I am having with it is to actually go through with it.
I’m still thinking about it but I’m going at my own pace.
I do really like the name Jey though.

Hey @illumickeynati! Of course you can name your scrafty Mikael! I would be so honored. You should send me a photo of him and his nature, I hope it’s a good one!
And thanks for your message! It really made my day!
Hey! Do you also run the ‘Gender Slices’ Tumblr page? Asking just in case someone was reposting your comics as you! ^•^” if everything’s ok then sorry for wasting your time!
I do! The Gender Slices page also has all my info on the bottom where you can find links to my other social medias. Thanks for worrying though! I just wanted to make a comics tumblr so I could put them somewhere that’s more readable for my audience!
My mom was really disappointed when I changed my name, but it’s been two years and she doesn’t mind anymore. Sorry if this isn’t helpful.
Thank you for sending this though! I’ve got a bit of a different situation as my mum passed away when I was a kid, so it’s so hard to know.
I am a very big trans guy- After I took my measurements I came to 55-60 inches and I just have not been able to find binders in my size. Do you have any places to recommend I might find binders in that size?
Ah, unfortunately I don’t know of many places that sell binders, only gc2b and underworks (which I have not bought from and have no real opinion on their binders). Other options could be binderswaps or giveaways, I’ve seen quite a lot of those on ftm tumblrs! Good luck!
hi as a fellow genderfluid i was wondering where’d you get your binder?? and around how expensive was it??
Hi there anon! I bought mine through gc2b and this is the one I grabbed http://gc2b.myshopify.com/collections/gc2b-classic/products/gray-half-binder before the cool colours came out! Since I’m from Canada the price was about $50 but that was fine because I’d saved up especially for it for a long time. I don’t actually wear it too often because I refuse to wear it at work out of fear of hurting myself, but it’s very comfortable! It’s comfier than some of my tighter sportsbras! Hope that helps you out! Stay safe!
For your inktober prompt list do you mind if other people use it?
oh I didn’t make it, I just wanted to write it down in my sketchbook for easy access! You can find it at http://erineclair.tumblr.com/post/150946678882/inktober-2016 sorry I should have included that in my post but I was on mobile
