The Curtain Falls – 9
Nothing can possibly go wrong as we drift out of this flashback.
The Curtain Falls – 8
Here’s more of a very beautiful 50 year old Goemon! If I had the rest of my life to make this comic you better believe I would’ve gone into how Goemon’s life is in his middle-age.
The Curtain Falls – 7
Thanks for your patience with this page, y’all I really did this to myself with this comic with huge establishing shots but I know it’s going to be worth it in the end! I really want to draw all the backgrounds for this one freehand. I’m so determined! But...
The Curtain Falls – 6
Here’s the next page, I played around with it a lot but decided to call it done finally! The painting referenced in the last panel is “The Power of Death” by William Holbrook Beard (1884–1894).

The Curtain Falls – 2
This would be the perfect time for Fujiko to show up in a helicopter. Also a fun note: the comic starts off in New York City at the Museum of Natural History, which I’d like to visit one day.
The Curtain Falls – 1

The Curtain Falls – Cover
It’s happening! This is a 50 page comic I’ll be posting for $3+ patrons as I complete pages, so no set schedule but I’ll aim for one page per week. The comic follows Lupin III in his 60s and dealing with the fact that nothing lasts forever. It’s a project...
